In December our dance school took to the stage to put on their 7th LIVE show. It saw over 100 dancers and an audience of nearly 500. The dancers of In Step Dance Studios have been working towards this show for months during class and it definitely paid off! Hundreds of happy faces filled the Easterbrook Hall as well as spectacular sound, lighting and costumes. It was yet another fabulous display of choreography in the styles of Street, Jazz and Contemporary dance through the ages of 1 years old to 17.
We celebrated some achievement awards before we wrapped up the show. We had one achievement award for each age group.
This huge event could not take place without the help from our volunteers who work backstage. From organising line up orders getting the kids ready to walk on stage, costume management, sign in & out stations, toilet runs, noise level control, side of stage management, set up & tidy up and much much more! It would not be possible without them all! Most of our helpers are ex students which is also such a heartwarming delight to have them come back and help on the big day!
We would like to thank all of our dance families who continue to support such an event. Your support ables us to keep coming back year on year to provide an experience filled with special memories and fun! Now to get planning for 2024!
